A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Sherman County Soil and Water Conservation District, Sherman, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, will be held at the USDA Service Center located at 2004 First St, Moro, OR 97039. The meeting will take place on April 4, 2024 at 8:30 am.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.

An additional meeting of the Budget Committee may be held on April 9th, 2024 at 7:30 am at the USDA Service Center located at 2004 First St, Moro, OR 97039. This meeting will be held only if needed.

Members of the public who wish to attend the meeting and discuss the proposed budget with the Budget Committee should contact the District Manager at least 48 hours prior to the noticed meeting time by phone at 541-565-3216 ext. 109 or by email at amanda.whitman@or.nacdnet.net.  

A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after March 29, 2024 at 2004 First St, Moro, OR 97039 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm. Materials will be posted online at www.shermancountyswcd.com.
