County Cost Share

The Watershed Council has funding and technical assistance for conservation practices and ideas you want to try! County Cost Share funds conservation projects in crop, range, and/or riparian areas.  We have made some changes to our CCS program. Haul roads and boundary fence are no longer limited by product/distance. Projects up to $20,000 have a 75% cost share rate. Our completion deadline for all CCS projects is now 2 years from the date of approval. Call the SWCD at 541-565-3216 to learn more or to apply, there is no deadline. All landowners (agricultural land or not) and producers in Sherman County are eligible to apply.
