Watershed Model

The SWCD brought a Watershed model to grades K-5 at the Sheman County School in January.  Partnering with Sherman County Prevention, we also presented a homeschool lesson at the Wasco Event Center. This interactive model demonstrates the importance of protecting our waterways from various forms of pollution.  These lessons are part of our Conservation Awareness Program with funding from Oregon Community Grants and the Roundhouse Foundation.
